Nestled deep in the scenic Jasper valley just outside of Jasper Alberta Canada, Tekarra Restaurant brings a truly breath taking dining experience. Renowned chef David George Husereau, takes his 25 years of experience, his travel of the world and his love of food to create a truly special and local/global menu.

Originally opened in 1952, Tekarra Restaurant became an instant favourite of the day and has hosted the likes of Marilyn Monroe, John Travolta, and recently hosted the inaugural team dinner of the Edmonton Oilers. Chef Husereau took over in 1995 and has put his unique spin on dining while maintaining all the charm and tradition that Tekarra Lodge was built on. In the summer of 2010, they had the good fortune of serving such high profiles as Canadian icon Charles Bronfman as he toured the country scouting locations for his 80th birthday and Lance Armstrong during his fundraising tour through Jasper. Lance “tweeted” to his 2 million followers from his table that “he was having a great dinner at Tekarra Lodge”. Our dining room seats 86 and boasts intimate tables for just the two of you, cozy tables for four and of course enough room for gatherings of almost any size.
