The  ATCO International Ice Carving Competition opens the celebrations on Thursday, January 26 as professional ice carving artists from around the world create their best ice carvings to amaze you! The ice carving masterpieces will be finished by noon on Saturday, January 28.

Celebrate Canada 150! Meet characters from our past, check out the working forge, explore how people lived here in the winter, talk to a fur trader and so much more in our Ordinary People…Extraordinary Stories celebration.

Register to paint a tile that will become part of the mural tells the story of Old Strathcona at our tile painting workshops on Thursday evenings.

There is something new to experience every day!
